Through this installation, I wish to make visitors travel to an unknown and fictitious world. They will be able to observe and manipulate on the environment. They will have to look for meaning in each of the elements present in the room and play with them as they wish.

“Topographie Digitale” is an interactive installation created by DataPaulette. This landscape uses polymerized and pleated textiles as a sensitive surfaces reacting to touch. This interaction brings to life a “digital clone”, video-projected. This mirrored scene reveals an organic side contrasting with the mineral aspect of the physical scene.

In April 2018, I had the chance to participate to the eTextile SpringBreak, wich took place at Wassaic, NY. In a setting still wintery and picturesque in the American style, I could share my passion with people I admire who each have their own approach to eTextile.

For several months now, I am tinkering in a textile hackerspace called DataPaulette, based in Montreuil (near Paris). We experience new things around textiles in all aspects, and we like to incorporate electronics, working with special materials for new interactions.
